After your eyebrow transplant has been completed, you are able to go home
and continue with your daily activities. Except for some swelling and redness or
light bruising and crusting, there are no other side effects you need to tend to.
Some shedding may occur and is no cause for panic. This usually happens
around four months after the procedure, when new hair follicles grow.
The eyebrows will gradually take a healthy looking natural shape, but it typically
takes a full year until the result is obvious. The most common reason for getting
an eyebrow transplant is over plucking. Along with age and hereditary eyebrow
pattern, other frequent reasons for undergoing a transplant procedure are;
chemotherapy, skin trauma or scarring, trichotillomania and other diseases.
This procedure gives a more youthful appearance to your entire face by making
your eyebrows even, glossy, thick, well-shaped and natural looking. Since it is
low risk and almost pain free, many people are choosing to undergo eyebrow
transplantation for purely aesthetic reasons. Eyebrow hair transplant is a
permenant procedure that lasts a lifetime.
