An FUE hair transplant is a permanent replacement for hair loss. To get these natural and permanent results does take time, results will start to be evident after 6 months but can take up to 12 months for maximum density in the hair line area and up to18 months for the crown.
In most cases a result from a hair transplant will be improved by the use of some hair loss treatments, however they are not required for a successful transplant. In some cases hair loss may continue after a transplant in the areas not worked on. Our consultants can advise on these treatments.
The way that FUE works uses grafts from an area of the head not affected by the causes of male pattern baldness and that will grow naturally just like the hairs around them. Hair transplants are considered a safe surgery. With none of the risks of general anaesthetic and relatively small incisions, when performed by a competent and experienced surgeon the risks are minimal.
